Steve: A Profile of Our Typical Customer Put Together Based On Survey Answers

Steve is a 48 year old gentleman with a bachelor degree. He is self-employed (or desires to be) and works in finance and management. He also has an artistic inclination. He is a spiritual/new age kind of guy. He has children, earns about US$ 100,000 a year, and is actively involved in personal development by attending courses and seminars and reading books such as those by Anthony Robbins and Deepak Chopra.

Steve is interested in having multiple streams of passive income from businesses and investments. He is always keen to learn new ways to achieve this end. He is also interested in leveraging the internet for business and lifestyle.

He is usually optimistic, an optimist who loves life and continuous growth. He is actively looking for like-minded people to share in his path, ideas and passions and in the exciting journey of personal growth. Steve sees himself not as a victim but as someone capable of helping himself and others. He is increasingly happy with himself.

Steve sometimes struggles but he believes he will always bounce back, and that life is always full of new learning. His biggest fears are the fear of failing and fear of being viewed as weak. He is genuinely caring and loving, however, and he is ambitious. On the whole, he sees himself as fortunate and as a winner. He is proactive and open-minded.

He likes nature, freedom, travel, reading, beauty and color, helping others, living well and healthy, and he likes people. He likes being active but also likes time to himself to reflect and grow. He dislikes discomfort, negativity, and oppression of others.

Steve says that what causes him pain is:

  • · Financial bondage and constraints (not having enough money to do what is important to him to do.
  • · Being torn between work and family and fun (too many demands from work and the need to earn enough keeps him away from family and having fun). Time bondage and constraints (not having enough time to do what is important to him to do.
  • · Feeling like life is passing by. His intention and desire to do great things and enjoy life never seems to truly materialize. It seems to move away like the horizon as he gets older.
  • · Not living his life to the fullest.
  • · Negative issues and thoughts from his past come in his way sometimes and he would like to learn how to get over that. At these times, he feels anxious, sometimes depressed, and he feels trapped by his past and his circumstances and also by his old comforts and habits.
  • · Fear of uncertainty and failure.
  • · He is sometimes caught up by lack of action, focus and organization.
  • · Cost of living.
  • · Debt.

Steve also says that what he really wants, his biggest desires, and the outcomes he is truly after, are:

  • · Financial freedom.
  • · Time freedom.
  • · To love and be loved.
  • · Passive income.
  • · Large rewards for little effort (better leverage).
  • · Working in the areas he loves (work because he loves to and not because he has to).
  • · Being able to help and teach others to have the same freedom and power in their lives (enabling people – family, friends, and strangers).
  • · Time with family and loved ones and time to himself.
  • · Nice things, nice people, nice places to be in and travel to. He often desires to travel the world and see new places and people.
  • · Peace and peace of mind.
  • · Spending time on spiritual matters.
  • · Living life to the fullest and making the most of every moment.
  • · Living a life of purpose and joy.
  • · Health and well-being.

That’s Steve!
